a screenwriting app that keeps working after the draft.
screenwrite is a desktop app for mac and windows. it formats screenplays as you type: scene headings, action, dialogue, parentheticals, transitions, with correct margins, page breaks and more. invite people and they write in the same script at the same time — guests join in the browser, phone and tablet included, nothing to install. or work offline with the files on your own disk. scripts import from and save out as final draft .fdx or fountain, and print or save to pdf through your browser.
you also line the script the way you would on paper: one line down the page for each setup, tagged with a shot type from a set of twelve. screenwrite reads the lines and builds the shot list from them, numbered and in scene order, colour-coded by type. edit a line and its row updates. the list prints, or saves as .csv.
